New Horizons Resources 38th Annual Invitational Golf Tournament

Rain on the course never dampened enthusiasm

New Horizons Resources 38th Annual Invitational Golf Tournament was held Monday, May 2nd at the Powelton Club in Newburgh, NY.

Despite intermittent rain that was sometimes quite heavy, more than 80 players played a full day of golf followed by cocktails, raffles and dinner at the clubhouse.

First place finishers were Tyler VanDeBogart, Cameron Chadwell, Aaron Chadwell and Chris Giametta. The second-place foursome was from Hickey-Finn & Co. and included Brian Kennedy, Patrick Brown, Keith Fowler and Malcolm Gatherer. Third place finishers were TEG Credit Union and included Ron Flaherty, Matt Bannon, Scott McNally and Mike Rostanzo.

The Longest Drive competition was won by Craig Irwin and Paige Decker. Tyler VanDeBogart won the Closest to the Pin competition.

Following the tournament, the players enjoyed an evening of cocktails, dinner and raffle prizes. There was also a brief video about New Horizons that featured the people we support talking about their aspirations, their activities and their dreams for the future.
